About Us

Signature Hair Bows originated from a very special friendship between two creative stay at home moms who shared the same obsession for Candy...yes, we refer to all of our beautiful ribbon choices as candy. Ribbon candy, that is! We love turning our ribbon candy into unique and fabulous treats like our Signature Bows…hence from simple to simply fabulous!

Over the past 7 years, Signature Hair Bows has been a dream in the making, for it has been so much fun designing and adorning the eldest of our daughters with beautiful hair bows. We first set out to make the most uniquely beautiful hair bows that would stand out for our little girls. It was when our Signature bows were getting noticed with gasping compliments, head-turning smiles and even a local boutique that had to have our bows that we realized we had something special!

As our friendship grew, so did our families and each of us added one more little girl, making a grand total of 3 girls and 2 boys! It was no surprise when we both ended up with our youngest being girls, born only one month apart that the obsession for fabulous intensified. At the age of just 7 months, Andrea’s daughter, Annastin was diagnosed with cancer. Having daughters so close in age, and a friendship so deep, we both walked where no mom is ever prepared to go. Just after Thanksgiving, Andrea’s family was told that their baby had stage III neuroblastoma and would undergo surgeries and chemotherapy during the coming months. As we each walked through this life trial as moms, our friendship was strengthened and proved to be unmistakably genuine.

Now that we are on the other side of that trial, we are so happy to have our little Annastin with us today, happy and healthy, and now we are proud to have Signature Hair Bows available to everyone...our dream come true! We are passionate about making every little girl look and feel beautiful. Annastin lost all her hair and as a mom, all Andrea wanted was for people to see her daughter as a precious little girl and bows became therapeutic for her. Dealing with her daughter’s hair loss was extremely hard for her, and we both want moms out there to know that we understand...even in the midst of all the other things surrounding cancer or any other diagnosis, sometimes it's the little things that make a difference! It is our passion that we can help bring a smile to every little girl, no matter the circumstance that they may be facing. "For every precious gift from above should have its' appropriate packaging!"

We have carefully designed each and every product that we sell to provide moms with the same quality we want for our own girls. All our experiences over the past 7 years have enabled us to design and provide you with beautiful handmade bows, headbands and caps with the utmost attention to detail. Together we also came up with a solution for a grippy material for our baby bows that allows the bow to stay in place without damaging hair and gives a soft cushy feel to hold in the finest of hair. We've also made beautiful bows for our too cute crochet head bands and even our newest Signature Caps, completely diva-licious for girls with or with or without hair. We care and want to be a part of making every little girl feel fabulous too!
